Se connecter à Strava

To use Lap Analyzer, you must first connect with your Strava account.

Why connect?

  • • Access to segment data for analysis
  • • Secure authentication via OAuth2

Connection steps:

  1. Click on "Connect with Strava" on the home page
  2. You will be redirected to Strava.com
  3. Log into your Strava account
  4. Authorize Lap Analyzer to access your data
  5. You will be redirected to your dashboard

Analyser un segment

Once connected, you can analyze any Strava segment to detect suspicious performances.

How to find a segment URL?

  1. 1. Go to Strava.com and find the segment that interests you
  2. 2. Click on the segment to open its dedicated page
  3. 3. Copy the URL from the address bar (e.g. https://www.strava.com/segments/12345)
  4. 4. Paste this URL into Lap Analyzer

Analysis process:

  1. Paste the segment URL in the provided field
  2. Click on "Analyze segment"
  3. The analysis starts automatically (few seconds)
  4. Results are displayed with detected suspicious performances

Types of analysis

  • Theoretical analysis : Compares times to human physical limits
  • Leaderboard analysis : Examines top performances (if accessible)
  • Automatic detection : Identifies impossible speeds (>25 km/h running, >80 km/h cycling)

🚨 Impossible performance

Speed exceeding human physical limits. Reporting recommended.

⚠️ Suspicious performance

Exceptional performance requiring manual verification.

📊 Theoretical analysis

Estimated times by level (elite, competitor, amateur, leisure).

✅ Normal performance

Times consistent with normal human capabilities.

Signaler une activité suspecte

When a suspicious performance is detected, you can report it directly to Strava.

Reporting methods

1. Automatic reporting : Click on "Report" next to a suspicious activity

2. Manual reporting : Enter an activity ID in the reporting area

3. Reporting popup : Pre-written message with evidence to copy-paste

Reporting process:

  1. Identify a suspicious activity in the results
  2. Click on "Report this activity"
  3. A popup opens with a pre-written message
  4. Copy the message and click on "Open Strava"
  5. Paste the message in the Strava reporting form
  6. Send the report

  • • Respect the presumption of innocence
